The M7-2 Series is Kubota’s flagship. Available in three models, the Kubota M7-2 Premium KVT range features Kubota’s 130–170HP Tier 4 engine, plus proven and versatile transmissions in all models. Specifically designed for the farming professional who wants a versatile and hard-working tractor. The M7 series keeps evolving to make your job more productive and enjoyable. Since its launch to the market, the Kubota M7 series has contributed to making farm work more productive and comfortable. It’s hard to beat your best, but that’s what Kubota just did. Carefully listening to feedback from Australia and New Zealand, we have proudly introduced an improved M7 that brings even greater productivity and operability to the field. Power is the key to superior tractor performance and the M7-2 has plenty of power to quickly and efficiently handle just about any task. But when PTO jobs, or transport, call for more power, the M7-2’s power boost is activated, delivering more power to get you through the tough jobs.
Product Features
The M7-2 is powered by a next-generation 6.1 litre, four-cylinder diesel engine, incorporating Kubota’s clean-air technology. 30 speed semi-powershift lets you find the right gear for every task. For the ultimate control over your ground speed, the Kubota KVT stepless transmission puts you in control of the optimum speed for the job. The M7-2 standard model is ready to go to work with a closed centre 110l/min hydraulic supply to four standard electric valves and the option of adding a fifth auxiliary control valve. Out of the box, the M7-2 Premium models can handle any ISO-BUS connector-compatible implements. Simply attach the implement to the universal plug, and information about the implement is instantly displayed on the LCD monitor for adjustment and control. For ISO-BUS compatible implements, you won’t need to install a control box, special monitor, extension, power source, or wiring.
Engine
The M7-2 Series includes Kubota’s most powerful engine. Offering improved engine performance by lowering the rated engine speed from 2200 rpm to 2100 rpm and lowering the output speed from 2200 rpm to 1900 rpm. Kubota’s updated engine results in better fuel economy and reduced engine noise. The M7-2 Series provides constant power and torque used for PTO and towing work.
Transmission
Kubota’s KVT transmission is widely praised for its performance and efficiency. The new KVT transmission takes performance and efficiency to the next level, offering even better shuttle response to let you quickly find the ideal speed for the job at hand, including loader work. Different driving strategies such as foot throttle control or joystick control can be used on the run. The KVT stepless transmission always puts you in control of the perfect ground speed required, including the ease of cruise control for long repetitive runs. M7-2 Premium KVT models are fitted with front suspension and steplessly offer supper slow creeper speeds up to 50km/h travel speeds.
Ultimate Comfort
To let you get more work done in less time and with less effort, Kubota has developed a unique multi-function operating lever and armrest that puts most of the M7-2’s major functions on a single easy-to-use control console. Your right hand is always on the lever, leaving your left hand free for steering. Tractor operations couldn’t be simpler or more convenient. Kubota’s M7-2 Series ensure long days in the field provide ultimate comfort throughout your ride. With a spacious four post suspended cab and reduced decibel labels, you can enjoy the virtually unobstructed views. Designed with your comfort in mind, the M7-2 Series include a new deluxe seat with more cushioning and armrest, with a wider range of adjustments. Kubota’s M7-2 Series pressurised cab features a high-performance heating, air conditioning system and ventilation with 25% greater air flow. This allows the cabin to quickly heat or cool, plus maintain the desired temperature. Most of the M7-2’s functions are conveniently displayed on a single large LCD touch screen and can be adjusted and set with simple touches of a finger. The four main functions—Tractor Control, ISOBUS connector-compatible implement control, GPS-compatible auto-guidance, and Camera Monitor—are always displayed on the user-friendly panel, simplifying their adjustment and monitoring.
Hydraulics
Tractors must be able to handle virtually every agricultural job on the farm. Closed Centre Load Sensing (CCLS) hydraulic system with 110 l/min flow, 4 standard rear remotes (optional 5) and power beyond to accomplish the most demanding jobs. Premium models offer an electric hydraulic system that provides enhanced operational efficiency and the ability to multitask. Valve adjustments such as flow, timer, priority are done through the intuitive K-Monitor Pro console. The rear linkage boasts 9400kg lifting power at ball ends, plenty of muscle to safely handle large implements.
