KUBOTA M8540 Narrow ROPS & CAB TRACTORS

M8540DCN / M8540DN / M8540NPK
The hydraulics on the M-Series are state-of-the- art. External hydraulic cylinders improve the lifting power and offer easier maintenance. The M8540 offers a large pump capacity of 64.3 l/ m. As a result, the front loader cycle times are short, increasing productivity. The standard 540/540E rpm hydraulic independent PTO (1000 rpm is optional on the M8540) of the Kubota M-Series tractors makes your toughest work easier. Self- modulation engagement with a light touch means implements like a rear cutter engage smoothly. The PTO brake engages when the clutch is shut off and securely holds the PTO shaft. The PTO clutch can be hydraulically engaged and disengaged on the go. This means mowing, operating hay equipment or spraying are all made more efficient. The Category II 3-point hitches provide fast and simple attachment of rear-mounted implements. Lift capacity on the M8540 it is 3900kg at ball ends.

Product Features

Kubota’s revolutionary new centre direct injection system (E-CDIS) engines offer more durability, power and fuel efficiency. Narrow enough to work between the vines and low enough to get you under the limbs. Kubota has engineered these models specifically for those who work in vineyards, orchards or anywhere else that might require a narrow and compact tractor with M-Series power. With an overall width of just 1,486 mm with standard tyres, you can work almost anywhere. To further ensure that these machines go where you want them, we’ve also rounded the standard fenders, placed the ROPS in the middle of the tractor, included standard foldable hazard lights and made certain that the operating levers are positioned so as not to interfere with low branches.

Engine

The V3800DI-T engine powers the Narrow M8540 tractors, equipped with Kubota’s revolutionary center-direct injection system (E-CDIS) . The E-CDIS engines offer a unique combination of more power, durability and better fuel efficiency, so you’ll be able to get the job done quicker and more efficiently while minding your budget. These engines also boast lower noise levels, which equates to less stress and fatigue after long work days. This hearty diesel engine employs a reliable 4-valve, center-direct injection system to achieve greater towing power. Combine this with the V3800DI-T’s turbo charger and you have all the power you’ll ever need, especially in the low rpm range, to perform heavy-duty tasks and during operations requiring sure-footed traction. The engines of the Kubota M-Series tractors comply with Tier II emission regulations.

Transmission

F15/R15 transmission and automatic 4-wheel braking. The Hydraulic Shuttle transmission is designed to keep you moving and productive with synchronised four speeds of the main shift and a high/low range. The main shift also allows you to shift “on the fly” for smooth operation. The 4-wheel drive works together with our mechanical wet disc brake system to offer safe and effortless stops automatically. When traveling in 2WD, and both brakes are applied, 4WD instantly engages for 4 wheel braking power.

The Driver’s Seat

All of the narrow cab models feature an air-conditioned cab that keeps the operator comfortable while on the job. It provides ample head clearance for tall operators, and offers protection from the elements. Whether you’re trying to beat the heat on a hot summer day, or stay cozy during the chill of winter, the deluxe air conditioner/heater puts you in charge of the climate. This advanced system maximises airflow and optimises cooling, heating, and air ventilation to help you work comfortably year-round, in any temperature.

Hydraulics & PTO

The hydraulics on the M-Series are ready for the job. External hydraulic cylinders improve the lifting power and offer easier maintenance. The M8540 offers a large pump capacity of 61 l/ min. Standard specifications are two valves with an optional further third valve on the rear and two additional, optional mid-mounted valves making the 8540 Narrow a true allrounder in demanding vineyard and orchard applications. The standard 540/540E rpm hydraulic independent PTO (1000 rpm is optional on the M8540) of the Kubota M-Series Narrow tractors makes your toughest work easier. Self- modulation engagement with a light touch means implements like a rear cutter engage smoothly. The PTO brake engages when the clutch is shut off and securely holds the PTO shaft. The PTO clutch can be hydraulically engaged and disengaged on the go. The Category II 3-point hitches provide fast and simple attachment of rear-mounted implements. Lift capacity on the M8540 Narrow is 1900kg at ball ends.

Krawler Option

The M8540 NPK (Narrow Power Crawler)is Kubota’s unique half track version of the M8540 Narrow. With a 12 speed transmission (4 gears in Creep/High/Low), top speed at just under 22km/h and otherwise the same specifications as it’s wheeled siblings, the Power Crawler has a light footprint yet maintains enormous traction as a half track design. It is therefore your ensurance in wet seasons and your safeguard in very undulating terrains.
