The Krone OptiTurn tines features generously overlapping rotors for best crop lift and optimal spread. This ensures fast wilts and optimal animal feed. The two shafts in each pair of tines are unequally long. This ensures their tips are always parallel as they hover above the ground, lifting the material cleanly while preventing contamination.
The Vendro tedders feature the pin-and-hole system as standard, altering the spreading angle between 13° to 19° to reach optimal conditioning. A steep angle results in intensive tedding, a shallow angle results in gentle turning. The spring-loaded pin adjusts the angle quickly and easily in only four steps without needing to cotter pins.
The V-shaped and compact frame brings the machine’s centre of gravity very close to the tractor, significantly reducing the lift requirement while simultaneously taking strain off the front axle without affecting steering.
All Vendro tedders feature OctoLink finger clutches, consisting of eight fingers that make a frictional and reliable connection inside the driveline, providing consistent power flow to the next rotor. The finger clutches are extremely robust and require no lubrication, saving the operator time while increasing productivity.
The border spreading control throws the material away from the border and into the field, so no crop is lost. All the running wheels are connected to each other via the border spreading control linkage, ensuring stable castering for uphill work and uniform spreads on steep slopes
